Properties must comply with Zoning Bylaw No. 770, 1996 to be eligible for short-term rental use, and all operators must obtain and maintain a District of Tofino Business Licence. A Permanent Resident must live at the premises, and a Permanent Resident or licensed property manager must be present in Tofino and available to respond within 2 hours whenever guests are staying.
