HostReady answers one question well: is a short-term rental allowed at this address, and what do the city, county and state require before you take a booking. That is the whole job. Everything else an operator needs is somebody else’s craft, and these are the people we have talked to and would point a host at.
We read a jurisdiction’s rules and prove them against the government page they came from, work out which government actually binds a parcel, track the licences and permits a property needs, and tell a host when a rule that binds them moves. In the jurisdictions where we hold the exact requirements, we will file the short-term rental licence for you.
We do not price your calendar. We do not file or remit your lodging tax returns, and we take no position on your income-tax return. We are not your accountant and not your revenue manager. Where one of those is the question, the answer below is better than anything we would bolt on.

The handoff. DeductFlow is about the income-tax return on your rental. HostReady is about the licence on your door and the lodging tax a guest pays on a stay. Those are different taxes to different governments on different calendars, and neither tool covers the other: HostReady does not file or remit lodging tax and takes no position on your income-tax return, and DeductFlow does not tell you whether your city allows the rental.
