HostReady
A public REST API with an OpenAPI spec, an MCP server, and billing per answer rather than per call.
- 1,090+ US cities and counties, including the small towns
- Every published fact links to its government page (13,468 and counting)
- One line per credential, with renewal reminders and an evidence vault
- Daily monitoring for ordinance, legislation and enforcement changes
- 5 live PMS integrations, plus a public API and MCP server
- First property free, no card
The API returns the same composed answer the website shows: city, county and state rules for a jurisdiction, each fact with its government source, plus eligibility and a zoning verdict for an address. It covers 1,090+ US cities and counties, ships a full OpenAPI 3.1 spec, supports webhook subscriptions for rule changes, and is also published as an MCP server so an AI assistant can query it directly.
13,468 published facts, read from 2,032 government pages, each one linked to the page it came from. A response tells you whether it is billable and why, so an invoice can be audited against your own logs.
Billing is per answer, and a miss is free: a market where fewer than six proven facts exist costs nothing and queues research instead, so a platform can point a whole book of business at it without underwriting coverage gaps. The coverage endpoint is never billed on any tier, so you can size it against your portfolio before paying. The sandbox is free for 50 answers a month. Paid packages: Starter $49 a month for 100 answers, Launch $299 a month for 1,000 answers, Growth $999 a month for 5,000 answers and Scale $2,499 a month for 20,000 answers.
- Best for
- A PMS, channel manager, lender or STR tool that wants the compliance answer inside its own product.
- Limitation
- US only. Address-level answers cost a real parcel lookup and are metered separately. Raw parcel attributes (the zoning district string, the APN, lot size) are not returned, only the derived verdict.
